Along with a limited use of colour, I've kept a lot of the white space for the final layout on this spread. The text is placed below the diving board, as if the little girl is about to jump in and the sentence is the surface of the water.

I remember having a high diving board and a regular diving board at our neighbourhood pool. What a thrill to hurl yourself off that high dive! We also played 'Sharks and Minnows' which was essentially an underwater Tag game.

Many a blissful summer day was spent at the local pool. We usually showed up for swim team practice at about 8am with a packed lunch and spent the day there. When it was nearing dinner time, we all packed up, got on our bikes, and cycled home.
